Our story

Built by animators,
for animators.

We've watched brilliant generative AI models break perfectly good productions. Characters drift. Backgrounds morph. Directors rage-quit. We built Milk&Ink Studio so that doesn't happen to your show.

Our mission

Give anime studios the production discipline of Pixar with the iteration speed of AI — without losing canon, craft, or control.

The problem

AI made generation cheap. It also made continuity impossible.

In 2025, one person with a Runway subscription can generate a 60-second reel that would have taken a team of 20 animators three months. That's a miracle.

But try to ship an episode. Suddenly your protagonist has blue hair in shot 4, brown in shot 12, and a completely different face in the climax. Your studio's visual law — the canon bible — lives in a Notion doc that nobody reads.

Existing AI tools are built for one-off content creators. Studios need something different: shared state, enforced canon, review gates, provider flexibility, and a paper trail.

What we built

The AI animation production platform — one studio, every model.

Milk&Ink Studio sits between your team and the AI providers. You define your Canon Bible once — characters with reference images, locations, palette constraints, style rules. Every shot you generate reads from that canon automatically.

Our continuity engine flags drift before the director ever sees it. Review threads, approval gates, and release packages match how real studios have shipped for decades.

Use Wan 2.1 for drafts, Kling 3 for stylized finals, Veo 3 for photoreal beats, Runway Gen-4 for hero shots — switch providers without losing context. New models plug in via a 200-line adapter, so your studio stays current without migrations.

Who it's for

Teams shipping animated stories.

Indie studios

Small teams who want Pixar-grade discipline without Pixar-grade overhead.

Production houses

Agencies producing episodic or serial animation for clients who demand consistency.

Solo directors

Auteurs with a vision and a Runway bill they'd like to stop overpaying.

Principles

What we believe.

01

Canon is sacred.

A studio's visual law is the most valuable asset it owns. Every tool should enforce it, not erode it.

02

No vendor lock-in.

The best model today won't be the best model next year. Your content, your canon, your choice of provider.

03

Your data stays yours.

We don't train on your uploads. We don't resell your content. The Enterprise tier can run fully in your own cloud.

04

Production, not prompt-crafting.

Directors shouldn't spend their week wrestling with a text box. Canon-first generation lets them direct.
